| Legend Lake Golf Outings
We invite you to make an appointment so that we can give you a personal introduction to our golf course and dining facility but hopefully the following will give you some understanding of why an outing at Legend Lake offers superb value.
First of all, being a private course, we already know how to make a strong first impression that will make your guests feel welcome. And we’re not talking about some cookie cutter robot “Hi, how are you?” greeting. Our staff will size your guests up as they arrive. The “players” will be made to feel like players. And the occasional players will be gently ushered into the Legend Lake golf experience so skillfully they’ll forget they’re nervous.
Our Head Professional, Master PGA Professional (there are only 239 other Master PGA Professionals worldwide) Chris Schultz and his staff are experienced tournament and outing planners. They know the details that can make an event memorable.
And the best part is that all you have to do is show up and enjoy the day. Our professionals will customize a package that will fit your needs. Putting contests, long drive competition…you name it and we’ll deliver.
Your guests can loosen up on the range or practice putting. Our facility and staff stands ready for your guests’ enjoyment and will make sure everyone has fun and enjoys the golf as it can be set up so that players of any skill level will enjoy the competition.
And don’t worry about the golf course being able to measure up. Legend Lake can be made to rise up and challenge the strong player but at the same time, provide endless satisfaction and enjoyment to higher handicappers for whom a handful of pars and the odd birdie represents a personal triumph.
Although we can structure your golf outing to your specific needs. Here’s a list of our basic offering that nets out at approximately $110.00/person:
The package includes:
- Full lunch – 3 salads, burgers, chicken, pork tenderloin, hot dogs, cookies, brownies
- Use of maple lockers very comfortable….showers
- Electric cart
- Use of the range, bag service you don’t touch a bag ….
- An 18 hole round of golf
- Gift (towel or balls)
- Scoring by Pro, help with the rules, scoreboard....
- On course beverage and beer service
- “Turn” snacks.. fruit, peanuts, pretzels
After the round, enjoy a drink with your guests on our patio overlooking the ninth green.
Then invite them into our recently renovated, reconverted dairy barn – a Geauga County landmark that sits pristinely on a little hill. One of the silos houses a circular that will lead them upstairs to a scene that looks like it was lifted right out of an 18th Century Ireland history book.
At least that’s what our members say. Right down to the Guinness on tap.
As you and your guests relax in this old world Irish pub setting, you’ll enjoy the expansive area overhead that features the gambrel shape of the roof – complete with the original barn wood – that accentuates both the pub area and a dining room with two large windows at either end that provide spectacular views of the golf course.
