This does not get any better if you’re a golfer proposition, nestled in a comfortable, rural setting, is an everyday reality for members of Legend Lake Golf Club since PGA Professional Reece Alexander decided to transform a 200-acre dairy farm in historic Geauga County into a place where he could “help golfers golf.”

He planted over 4,000 trees – soft pines, white pines, elms, maples – that, over 40 years, have grown to provide a formidable defense for this challenging design carved around Legend Lake Golf Club and Legend Creek which meanders from north to south throughout the property.

The course can be made to rise up and challenge the strong player but at the same time, provide endless satisfaction and enjoyment to higher handicappers for whom a handful of pars and the odd birdie represents a personal triumph.
